Punk music has contributed to anti-imperialist consciousness-raising and resistance for decades, from challenging US interventions and wars to confronting imperialist “globalization” to building solidarity across oppressive borders. This panel will discuss the past and present of punk anti-imperialism and how punk can continue resisting empire under a Biden administration, including through solidarity with contemporary anti-imperialist struggles.
